Boyfriend Cowl Pattern

Boyfriend Twisted Cowl Pattern:

You will need:

Yarn- Weight Category 5, I used Patrons Classic Wool Roving but you can use whatever style you wish

Circular needles- US 11 and 16"

Optional- 2 Stitch markers

Directions:
Cast on 70 stitches

Slip one stitch from the right needle to the left and knit the first two stitches together. (This is to avoid that silly gap when knitting in the round)

Then knit all of the first two rows to show off the pretty edge and have it roll up a bit. If you don't want this effect skip these two rows and start the pattern

Row 1- Place marker then P P K  and continue until end of row.

Row 2- P P K and continue until end of row.

Row 3- K P P K P P K and continue pattern until end of row.

Row 4- K P P K P P K and continue pattern until end of row.

Row 5- P K P P K P P K and continue pattern until end of row.

Row 6- P K P P K P P K and continue pattern until end of row.

Then from row 7 on just continue the pattern of moving the pattern one stitch over to your left and repeating once. You can set a second stitch marker to show you where to move over your pattern.
Keep up this pattern to desired length.

Last 2 rows knit all. (if you want the curled effect again)

Break off then weave in your ends and enjoy your cowl! <3

Crafts This Week

So I still haven't gotten any mail yet so please send something. Anything you like to get this swap started. This week I'd like to share some of the things I've been working on.

First here we have a embroidery floss wrapped iPad cord and a washi tape covered charger.
Here is a link to do the wrap http://honestlywtf.com/diy/friendship-necklace-diy/. Then for the washi tape part just wrap whatever one you like around the charger. I was worried the adhesive would stop working if the charger heated up, but it still sticks just fine.

Next we have my finished hat! If you want directions it's a modified version of this hat http://www.thinkcraftythoughts.com/2012/11/squish-squash-cable-hat.html. My version just alternates a 3 cord cable and 2 cord cable. I will work on writing down the pattern and posting it here soon.

Now I'm working on a cowl. Hopefully I will sit down this week and write down the pattern for you too when it's done.

My long term project is a seedling stitch blanket for my nephew. As you can see I haven't made it far.

Finally I started on another hat, but I still am not sure how it will turn out.

My Current Crafts

My new craft box is organized now.
I'm knitting myself a cable hat. The colors of this yarn are so beautifully woven.
